Friends Arena is the national arena of Sweden. It's a multifunctional arena located in Solna, at the north of Stockholm City Centre: Friends Arena, SE-169 79 SOLNA, Sweden. Its capacity is 50,000 spectators for sport events and up to 65,000 for concerts. Main hosting sports organizations: the main tenants of the stadium are Sweden’s national football team and top-tier Stockholm football club AIK. History: the construction works started on December 7th 2009. The opening ceremony was entitled as “Swedish Moments” directed by Colin Nutley and took place on October 27th 2012.
